Do decisions matter at every managerial level?

We are able to present some new outcome of our group work:

Next to our main topic – Intellectual Capital Management – we worked on another field: The role of decisions at every managerial level. Therefore we created in our last lecture a poster about this topic that we do not want to withhold from you.

The lead question is if decisions matter at every managerial level. Short and easy answer: Yes.

Longer and more deeper answer is about the role of decision making in the management process. Because decisions influence the behavior, the relations and the actions it is the central point of a management process. But the role of decision making depends on the mangerial level. In the strategic level (Questions about why we do this) high-impact decisions are more important while in the operations level (Questions about how we do it) low-impact questions are more important. Another point is that these low-impact decisions are playing a major role in knowledge-based organizations.

Hello world is the most common phrase in programming languages when you start learning it. This is also my first blog post so I thought it is suitable starting phrase. I know it is not “real” programming when you use publishing templates and content management systems like WordPress. Anyhow we started today our site and discussed about group terms and rules. After our discussion it was easy to put it on a paper J. I already started to study my topic Relational Capital. It will be interesting learning experience. I am writing this blog on a bus to ice hockey game and back to home. Thank you and good night!
